Election Platform for the Vaad of the Yishuv of Chashmonaim – 5768  (Ramat Modiin)

Relating to the Residents:

• Vaad members will work for the good of the Yishuv with integrity and honesty

• Vaad members will be attentive to the wants and needs of the residents

 

Mazkirut:

• Vaad members will work for proper and precise fiscal management, subject to the direction of the law, under the guidance of the accountant and the comptroller of the Yishuv

• Vaad members will work for clear and concise management, in a way that each resident of the Yishuv can receive and understand information regarding the Yishuv’s finances

• Vaad meeting summaries will be published on the Internet and on the bulletin board at the Mazkirut, with the exception of matters that touch on personal problems and classified security issues

• The Vaad will make residents’ participation in Vaad meetings possible

 

Development:

• The Vaad will demand from the Moetzah to repair the ring road and finish the paving of the road into Ganei Modiin

• The Vaad will be concerned with the furthering of the development of public areas in the Yishuv, the existing cultivation, and the addition of trees and grass in bare areas

• The Vaad will put up traffic signs in the Yishuv, as well as post street signs

• The Vaad will grow the Moadon Noar and establish a cultural center for seniors

• The Vaad will grow an amphitheater which will benefit each resident

• The Vaad will establish a public library in a spot convenient to all residents

• The Vaad will establish a swimming pool and a sports complex in Chashmonaim

• The Vaad will look for possible solutions for parking in public areas adjacent to the ring road

 

 

Position Holders:

• The Vaad will concern itself with clearly defining all positions and posts held in the Yishuv and will set up supervisors accordingly

 

Representative to the Moetzah:

• The Vaad will be in close contact with the Yishuv representative to the Moetzah

• The Vaad will raise topics regarding the Yishuv at Moetzah meetings

• The Vaad will coordinate with our representative in the Moetzah regarding votes at Moetzah meetings

 

Yeshivat Ner Tamid:

• The Vaad will concern itself to be in constant conversation with the Yeshiva administration to ensure the residents’ interests and to incorporate the Yeshiva into the lives of the Yishuv community

 

Education:

• The Vaad will be concerned with the development of recreation and activity spots for the Yishuv youth

• The Vaad will be concerned with channeling the energy of the youth in a positive way for the betterment of the Yishuv

 

The Local Moetzah:

• Members of the Vaad will make an effort to sever from the Moetzah of Mateh Binyamin, as a first step toward establishing a local Moetzah here

 

Water and Sewage:

• The Vaad will concern itself with establishing a Water and Sewage Plant, with monies that have been designated for maintenance of water and sewage pipes

 

Religion:

• The Vaad will concern itself with fulfilling all religious needs to all the residents’ satisfaction, including smaller groups on the topic of Batei Knesset

• The Vaad will concern itself with establishing a Mikva for women and men on the Yishuv

 

Petting Zoo:

• The Vaad will concern itself with establishing a petting zoo.
